We are no longer accepting applications for the 2008 Inc. 5000. Get the attention your fast-growing company deserves at Inc.com!The Inc. 5,000 is Inc.com’s annual list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S. It was first launched in 2007 as a tenfold expansion of the 25-year-old Inc. 500, which has featured many companies before they became world-renowned, including Microsoft, Domino’s Pizza, and Oracle. Every company honored on the inaugural Inc. 5,000 was profiled on Inc.com. You can check out the 2007 Inc. 5,000 here. The top 500, the Inc. 500, were also featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine. All of the Inc. 5,000 profiles were based on interviews with company management. We invite you to apply for the 2008 Inc. 5,000 today! The deadline has been extended to May 9, 2008. The Inc. 5,000 also recognizes the top 100 companies in every major metro area, the top 100 companies in each of our industry categories, and several other top 100 lists. How many of these lists will your company make? Why Should I Enter? The Inc. 5,000 is an elite—a mere sliver of the more than seven million companies in the U.S. that have employees. All 5,000 companies get their own separate, linkable profile pages on Inc.com. If your company makes the top ten percent of the Inc. 5,000—the Inc. 500—it will be featured in Inc. magazine. All of the Inc. 5,000 will be covered in local and national media, and receive attention and recognition from customers, partners, and investors. This impartial benchmark will give your employees concrete evidence that their years of hard work have paid off. You’ll get a wealth of new ways to market your company with our press release templates, reprint packages, and the ability to license the Inc. 500 or Inc. 5,000 logo for use on your website and written materials. You’ll have the opportunity to attend the 2008 Inc. 5,000 conference in Washington, D.C. next September, which will be packed with great speakers and educational sessions. There you’ll also network with and learn from your peers. These are people who, like you, are experiencing their success right now, not looking back at it. You will also gain membership in the exclusive Inc. 500 or Inc. 5,000 communities on IncBizNet, enabling you to communicate with your peers about the joys and challenges of rapid growth. Who Will Be Considered? To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2004, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2007. Revenue in 2004 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2007 must be at least $2 million. How do I Apply? Register your company at IncBizNet, check the box indicating your interest in applying for the Inc. 5,000, and provide us with your revenue figures for 2004 and 2007. Once you have completed the IncBizNet registration and provided those figures, you have applied for the Inc. 5,000. Then our revenue verification team will send you instructions on how to provide backup for your revenue figures. When is the Deadline? The deadline for applying for the Inc. 5,000 by registering your company at IncBizNet and providing us with your revenue figures for 2004 and 2007 has been extended to May 9, 2008. |
